So as we had a group of 14 go, I grabbed all 350 photos for 30$. They charge 20$ for one photo, 25$ for 2 photos and 30$ for 3+ photos. The photos they provide are also worth grabbing if you have more than a couple people in your group. The recent closure of the Lihue sugar plantation made this tour possible. Also having a GoPro was fun as you're able to capture the entire float down as a keepsake. Circa 1870 a series of ditches, tunnels, and flumes were hand-dug by Chinese. About 70% of the time is spent in tunnels, but they are seriously the coolest part! Make sure you bring closed toe water shoes as my feet did bounce off the cave walls quite a few times. The actual length of the float down was approximately 48-50 minutes. The Ride Into the Rainforest: After you gear-up at the company’s headquarters, you’re whisked away by van to the launch site. Flumin Kohala offers a truly unique way of experiencing pristine Hawaii. The ride down in tubes was obviously the highlight, but could've been a tad longer. KAUAIS ONLY TUBING ADVENTURE ACTIVITY Hop on one of our four-wheel-drive vehicles and traverse the former Lihue Plantation lands as we ride. Other river routes include the Hulia River. The ride up was pretty quick and a bit bumpy, not the most pleasant experience for someone with a bad back, but it wasn't horrible. Kauai is home to the only navigable rivers in Hawaii, so kayaking is an integral part of a unique Kauai vacation. They also gave us great recommendations for best food, desserts, hikes, etc. Let's just say it lived up to the hype! The staff was friendly and professional and made us laugh at every turn. Wasn't too sure what to expect when we first signed up for this, except the fact that all the reviews we had read raved about it.
